At October 20^th 2010 the international workshop on „The European project REMOTE – tele-healthcare as part of a holistic strategie in the health sector and nursing management” was jointly organised by Netscouts and the Nürnberger Initiative für die Kommunikationswirtschaft, NIK e.V., (Nuremberg association for the communications technology) and took place at the Nuremberg economy town hall.

The EC funded project REMOTE organized a 1^st Workshop was held in Florence, Italy on 3 of November 2009. MEDEA the Italian partner of REMOTE project organised the event.

The Kick-off meeting to start the project was held and organized by FORTH on the 9th of June 2009 on Crete, Greece.
